What does it taste like?
Distinctly earthy and peppery. Most people mix it with coconut water, juice or lemon-lime for a smoother drink. You get used to the taste quickly, and many come to enjoy the ritual.
How much should I take?
Start with 1 teaspoon (5g) in 200ml of cold water. You can adjust to taste and effect. A mild numbing of the tongue is normal and expected.

Does kava contain alcohol?
No. FijiKava contains no alcohol and no standard drinks.
Can I drink it before driving?
No. Kava may cause drowsiness. Do not drive a vehicle or operate machinery after consuming kava.
Can I mix it with alcohol, or use it on medication?
Do not consume kava with alcohol. Speak with your doctor before drinking kava if you take any medication or have a liver condition. Kava is not suitable for anyone under 18, or for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
How is this different from traditional grind?
